Art commissions
Work with Michaela to create custom art piece for your home or creative project that brings your vision to life.
The process
1 - Consultation
To start on the project, I will work with you async, over a call, or in person about what you are looking for in an art piece and give feedback on what direction we could take your vision. This will include some sketch concepts and I’ll share my strongest ideas for the piece.
2 - Deposit
For all commissions, I require a 50% deposit of the total amount before starting on the project. Once I send over the invoice and confirm the direction of the art piece, I’ll get to work! The second half of payment is due after the painting is complete.
3 - Collaboration
As I’m working on the painting, I will send process images along the way and reach out with any questions. As we’re getting closer to the painting being complete, I’ll ask if there are any last-minute changes before I seal the painting
4 - Shipping/Drop-off
Once I’m done, I’ll work with you on an in-person drop-off of the painting or coordinate shipping prices. Then, the painting will be in your home!

If you let me know that you want the piece wired or have a sawtooth hanger attached, I can make sure that’s ready before giving it to you. Otherwise, I’ve found that the gallery-wrapped pieces can hang on nails without issue.
