Savell Studio is a Boston-based art studio that sees significance in place and art as an invitation for hospitality. Whether it is through an original art piece, art prints, or journals, Savell Studio is where people are invited around a dinner table to discuss beauty in the places they have been and want to go. Often that conversation starts with an image that sparks a memory or a dream.

While Michaela - the founder of Savell Studio - has been painting as long as she can remember, Savell Studio was founded in its current state in Summer 2025. This is after more than a decade of Michaela selling original paintings and working with clients in the United States and around the Boston area under her name.

Michaela Savell is the owner, painter, and founder of Savell Studio. She is a Massachusetts native who has found a home in Boston for the last 5 years. Michaela is inspired by the New England architecture, breathtaking coasts, and nature around her for most of her paintings.

According to family lore, the last name “Savell” means “window farm” or “window factory.” She’s never found that translation on Google or any genealogy website though! Michaela sees her paintings as a representation to her collectors a window into the beauty of who they are and the beauty around them.
